Hi peeps and welcome to another Bear report brought to you by Mydo bait swimmers.

Well the outlook for the weekend is bleak to say the least. The SW wind came humming through last night gusting upto 35knt and is now blowing at a steady 20knt. Yes the swell is up but not as big as predicted.

The SW wind blows into tomorrow morning and dies before lunchtime switching around to a moderate NE wind which unfortunately blows through the night and for the rest of Sunday as well.

Swell starts chunky Saturday morning and drops off during the day getting flattened slightly by the NE wind in the arvo. Starts at 2.2m on Sunday at 13 seconds from the south and pretty much stays that way for the day.

Zero Sardine action today with the wind and swell which might change for Saturday however there are still plenty Sardines heading up from the Transkei atm.

Thanks Pa’s extreme fishing YouTube channel for the weekly update videos! I see the Big Grunter and Stumpies are definitely around with the guy’s going tight with Sardine baits in the Illovo and Winkelspuit areas.

There are big Brusher and Stumpies around Durban area and the guys have been getting good fish at night on the rod.

There are plenty Geelbek around with big Daga salmon inbetween offshore and in the shallows and surf zone with shoals of Garrick heading up north.

It’s end of month pay day and with the petrol money you saved this weekend by not driving to go fish you can enter the Natal set to be held on the 30th of this month! Deets in the gallery peeps.

The sea has greened up quite a bit however I see some colour by Scottburgh checkout the picture up this thread.

Barra in Mozambique has had lekker conditions although a little milky viz say’s Matt Oakley pictured with two Couta in the gallery! Aweh Matt wish we were there!

As always dive safe and straight spears from the Bear.
