Well Sunday through to Tuesday morning the sea was tops then we had some NE wind which didn’t do the sea any favours however we had a little SW yesterday and last night which brought some viz back from Durban to Warner beach.

We have a 15knt NE wind blowing now which was predicted at 25knts so there’s hope for Saturday morning if it drops off tonight. The NE is predicted to continue through to tomorrow morning 11am when it drops off and gives way to a moderate SW wind late afternoon.

The SW wind continues into Sunday morning and drops off 9am into no wind for the rest of the day. Swell runs at an average of 1.7m for the weekend.

Sea temps are between 25 and 26.5 degC with light to moderate NS current at the moment.

With Fish this week we have Master Richardt with his 1st Saily, Danie Cilliers with a half kob, Leon Peach with his 1st Black marlin and Christopher fishing off South pier with a 10kg Couta! Aweh lads lekker feeshies!

Ja the Snoek were wild off South pier on the weekend and the action moved to Umgeni by Tuesday with thousands of Snoek gathering there.

There’s been big Yellowfin tuna around south coast around the Port Shepstone area and some decent Couta coming out between Durban and Umkomaas in the south.

Tides for Saturday are low tide at 07h21 and high tide at 13h25 today was neaps with a 30cm tidal difference.

Please don’t forget to get your entries in for the Wahoo@DUC compo organised by Master Louis Schourie set to be held on the 11th of April. There’s a t-shirt boerie roll and cool drink/beer and some decent prizes coming in. Check pic’s for details.

As always dive safe and straight spears from the Bear.
