Bear KZN sea report Big Couta and Snoek

Hi peeps and welcome to another Bear report brought to you by Mydo bait swimmers.

Online YouTube report available here…

So as expected the weekend was a bit of a blow out however someone did take a ride out to no1 fishing grounds off durbs and managed to bag a size Couta! Aweh Master Richardt Botes! At 21kg it’s a decent Couta and let’s hope it herald’s the arrival of the Croc Couta in KZN.

Matthew managed to bag two Snoek this week on the north! Aweh! Heard that there was a bit of action even in the SW on Sunday by Ballito and Saltrock.

Allas the rain came down in buckets last night into early bells this morning and north is super green now plus all rivers are out with muddy flow! Just think of all those bus mackies getting a free pass…meh!

We are heading into spring tides with full moon tomorrow with a low tide at 10am and a high tide at 4pm. Spring tides are good for fishing if you have the right conditions however we have a moderate to fresh NE wind picking up 9am tomorrow morning so it better be an early bells session if you want results!

Hopefully the quick blow SW on Thursday brings it right again before weekend…

As Always Dive Safe and Straight Spears from the Bear.
