Bear KZN sea report Strong East swell

Hi peeps and welcome to another Bear report brought to you by Mydo bait swimmers.

Online YouTube report available here…

Here’s holding thumb’s there’s been no significant rain on the coast since Tuesday but there has been rain inland in the catchment areas. Swell has been the problem with power wave’s coming from the East at 11seconds which mucks up the inshore with ground swell.

Alas the swell show’s over 1.8m again tomorrow (Saturday) from the East and today’s SW Dr wind gives way to another moderate NE wind blowing through to Sunday evening.

There’s colour showing here and there down south with north coast showing improvement up to Westbrook and from there looking pretty brown…. meh!

Heading into March proper now so the Snoek and Couta should be around in numbers with Wahoo out deeper .

Temp wise we still around that 25 degC mark most spots however temps inshore form bluff to Westbrook were a tad low this morning around 22/23 degC.

Reverse current is pushing nicely today at an average of about 1knt with strong current middle to upper south coast.

We are in neap tide’s atm with high tide at 04h07 tomorrow morning and low tide at 11h40.

Here’s hoping we get some clean water inshore soon!

As always dive safe and straight spears from the Bear.
