Bear KZN sea report Sea coming right Snoek

Hi peeps and welcome to another Bear report brought to you by Mydo bait swimmers.

So…rain has been minimal and the surf has dropped! Starting to get colour on the north coast however the sea is a bit on the cold side at 22 to 23degC. Out deeper off the fairway bouy temps have started to pick up again from 22 to almost 25degc and the SN current is running at 1.6knt so it should get cleaner and warmer!

Down south coast around the Shelley beach area temps are up to 25 degC and there’s decent colour and viz pushing in! Yay!

Up in Zululand there’s viz and fish around with Master Juggs and Glenn Van Nooten making a trip up that side and getting some Snoek action! Aweh lad’s!

Tomorrow (Wednesday) we have ballistic weather with no wind in the morning and a light onshore wind in the afternoon. Swell will be 1.2m only! Tides are getting close to springs (Friday/Saturday) so there’s some movement with low at 09h22 and high tide at 15h20 tomorrow.

So ja it looks like if you want fish you have to drive a bit from Durban to get in!
