Well we have had divable water the last week however today’s beasterly Easterly has put paid to that! Still blowing North coast and dropping off south coast as I write this. Swell has jacked bigtime showing 6m outside and 3m inside on the Aliwal shoal at the moment!
Yes fish have been coming out well done Jerone with a Poenise boat dive south, Timothy with his 1st Wahoo boat dive south, Gordon with a Garrick Snoek and a Grunter shore dive North, Kezley with a Poensie fishing off Durban and Ashley with a decent Garrick and big GT fishing off durban. Aweh lad’s!
Down in East London and Port Alfred the guy’s have been getting into our summer fish! Dorado Yft and Wahoo! Hopefully it bodes well for our summer fishing here in KZN .
Sea temps today are still between 21 and 22.5 degC. Current was SN however after the East it’s now NS up and down the Coast with a whopping 1.6knt here off Durban.
Saturday and Sunday with have moderate SW blowing early bells through to the afternoon with swell running between 2 and 2.4m at 7 second’s from the south.
We are off neaps now with tidal difference increasing every day. Low tide Saturday at 06h20 and 19h05 with high at 12h50.
