Bear KZN sea conditions report Daga Snoek Dorado

Well yes the brown went away and was replaced by clean warm water this week and the fish were wild! Snoek Couta and Dorado are around in numbers!

We have a SW wind blowing at 20knts north and 12knts south at the moment with sea temps around 24 to 25 degC.
Sea has greened up a bit however it should start cleaning up as it settles down towards Saturday afternoon.

Saturday morning the SW continues to blow at 12knts dropping off towards afternoon with the swell starting at 1.8m and dropping off in the afternoon to 1.5m .

Sunday we have a light to moderate NE wind blowing from midmorning into the afternoon with minimal swell at 1.3m. perfect for an early bells Mackie mission!

With fish this week we have Master Richardt Botes with an Amberjack off Durban and some decent Snoek North coast, Noah Whittle with some bomber Snoek North, Saihil with Snoek Salties, Master Liam Mullaney with a decent Daga salmon and Snoek Bluff and Glenn Van Nooten with a slab Bull Dorado of 14kg off Durban! Aweh lads top feeshies!

We heading into neaps Monday to Tuesday next week with high tide tomorrow at 08h10 /20h12 and low tide at 14h22.

Current Umkomaas is just under half a knt SN at 25 degC and off Durban 1knt SN at 24.5 degC.
