Bear KZN sea conditions report Fish GALORE

Well yeah as predicted the sun shone the wind was calm and the sea was crystal! And fish were definitely around!

Bad news Eckmans transport is in full swing with a blustery NE wind till late last night! Will probably be ice on the floor (thermocline) and surface temps have dropped from 27 to 24 degrees C out to sea.

Good news is after NE wind today and Thursday we have a sneaky SW wind coming through Friday and ballistic weather with minimal swell for the whole weekend!

Dart Couta have been around in huge Shoals with Tank Snoek cruising the shallows with a Smattering of better size Couta inbetween. Dorado action seems to have dropped off a little however some are still being landed inshore.

With fish this week we have Declan O’Connor with a decent Couta Rodnreel Umdloti, young Reece Jones 1st Spady, Leon Peach with a decent brace of Snoek North, Darryl MC Cormac with a snoekie in the Rush hour at umdloti weekend, Master Liam Mullaney with a Marlin and a Croc Couta boat Durban, Arrin Smit All4fishing with a Dorado off the ski Bluff, Ryan Pelser with a GT and Mirror fish fishing with newbie paddler Dylan Smit All4fishing with two Couta and a Snoek Durban, The Bear with a Tank Snoek Umhlanga, Matt with a decent Snoek haul North, Declan O’Connor with underwater shot of a decent Rock Salmon Bluff, Dominic Fourie on the snoek with a decent brace at Umhlanga and 4 next dive further north, Vesagen and Noah with Couta Stumpie and Snoek boat north and Master Philip Dreyer with 4 decent Couta and a brace of Dart couta north. Wow Aweh peeps lekker feeshies!

Peeps you have probably all heard about the boat injuring the diver up North by Ballito…Mark Wright Jnr is in fact not in a good state! Both tendons gone left and right leg, broken leg and a dinged head.
