Hi peeps and welcome to another Bear report brought to you by Mydo bait swimmers.

So ja famous last words last report about not too much rain! Been belting down today and looks like more tonight however I see no brown flowing out to sea as of yet!

Good news is conditions did improve and there’s blue returning to the sea again! Ballito looking really good this afternoon besides the NE chop!

Heard there was some viz south this week as well with a couple pike and Snoek around. Most of the action though is between Westbrook and Bluff in the south with quite a few Couta around and single Snoek cruising the shallows.

Temps have been on the colder side between 21 and 24degc with a light to moderate SN current in most spots besides far south coast.

We have spring tides this weekend with a new moon Saturday. High tide’s are at 03h40 and 15h45 and low at 10h00.

The NE blows through till morning and drops off Saturday arvo with the swell starting at around 2m and dropping off to 1.5m from the East in the arvo.

Sunday swell starts off at 1.5m but picks up a bit after the SW wind starts blowing around mid morning.

So Saturday arvo and Sunday morning should be your best bet for a dive or some fishing this weekend.

As always dive safe and straight spears from the Bear
