Hi peeps and welcome to another Bear report brought to you by Mydo bait swimmers.

So ja we had some weather gaps over the weekend however the viz has been hard to find at the moment although there are plenty fish around.
April is Wahoo month and these speed demons should be around in numbers especially with the sea temps between 25 and 27 degC! Same goes for Croc Couta and our inshore staples like Snoek and Garrick should start making an early appearance.
I see the Tropical Yellowtail are around in numbers with some Giant Trevally thrown in for good measure. Well done Master Louis and JP with some nice Tropical Yellowtail and a lekker GT out off Durban! Aweh lads!
Bad news we have a yellow level 2 warning for thunderstorms over KZN tonight and tomorrow however it looks like it swings out to sea by Port Shepstone and makes landfall again up by Richards bay… here’s hoping it will be as predicted!
We are heading towards spring tides on the weekend and full moon with a low tomorrow at 08h22 and a high tide at 14h20. Light to moderate SW wind blowing tomorrow with the swell down from today at 1.7m 8 seconds from the East.
Viz has started showing up off the Bluff and Isipingo (thanks for the report Ginja!) starting to look nice and blue with the NE wind pushing on the sea this afternoon!
As always dive safe and straight spears from the Bear
