Bear KZN sea report Warm water Sunday best

So not a lot has happened from Tuesday’s report however the weather and surf has calmed down with the swell at 1.7m today from the East and a light 5knt onshore blowing now.

Current is SN on the north coast and NS from Umkomaas and down. Sea temps are lekker at an average of 25degc! Will be warmer further out to sea! Perfect Wahoo conditions for the Aliwal shoal this afternoon!

Saturday we have a light to moderate NE wind blowing all day so it will be a little bumpy out there however Sunday we have only light variable wind in the morning and NE only picking up later in the afternoon!

Swell Saturday is 1.9m from the SE at 12seconds however the NE will mush it flatter during the day. Sunday swell is around 1.6m from the East at 8 to 9 seconds… perfect for a dive!

We have spring tides this weekend with a full moon on Sunday. High tide’s Saturday are 03h40 and 15h40. Low at 09h40.

Croc Couta, Wahoo and Natal Snoek should be around in numbers and I’ve heard that big Giant Trevally are on the bite inshore as well.
