Well he have had idyllic conditions here in KZN the last few days however we have a rather large cold front pulling in early bells tomorrow morning. Don’t panic the weather goes boss again before the weekend with only a bit of rain predicted for tomorrow.
Sunday and Monday were some of the flattest day’s I’ve seen in KZN for a while ! Even Saturday was good and it shows in the results sheet from the UKFC ski fishing compo held this weekend!
Over 60 Couta came out with an average weight of 18.88kg! Wowsers! Master Pete Jacobs got a decent Croc Couta of 25.54kg and probably thought he had it in the bag! However Joss Morgan, on his third paddle ever, managed a Croc Couta of 27.64kg! Aweh well done Joss walking away with the R60k prize! Aweh!
So no need to say there’s Couta around! Snoek have been coming out as well with most of the action from Umkomaas down to Bazley on the middle south coast. Garrick coming out too all the way upto Ballito.
Well done Christo Muller getting two dives in up north and his 1st brace of Garrick for the season and a decent Indian mirror and a Snoek. Well done Domz Fourrie with a lekker Brace of Snoek down south and well done Lincoln at Brighton with his 1st Garrick today! Aweh lads!
So for what it’s worth (wind and all tomorrow) high tide is at 10h30 and low tide at 16h42 as we are in neaps there is very little difference in the tides, half moon today! Swell…eermm large and in charge!
As always dive safe and straight spears from the Bear.
