Hi peeps and welcome to another Bear report brought to you by Mydo bait swimmers.

So my prediction that it would only be a couple of hours of rain fell flat on it’s face! We had nearly 30hours of rain and sea went mud again! Meh!
However there’s supa dupa clean warm water out deep pushing in towards the coast as we speak… wether it arrives inshore local or somewhere on the south or north coast is anybody’s guess. Looks to be the closest off the southern end of the Bluff.
The sea is28degC out off Umkomaas and 27degC out off Durban as I write this with a 1knt NS current out off Umkomaas and a 1.2knt SN current off Durban.
The sea has been pretty rough today with a 2m East swell running which will drop off to 1.8m tomorrow morning and flatten out to 1.5m tomorrow arvo. There’s just about zip wind as well!
Sunday morning starts with 1.5m swell and picks up to 1.7m late arvo with a moderate NE wind fuelling it.
Fish wise I haven’t heard much this week but I’m sure the Dorado Couta and sailfish are around in numbers you just need to get out to the current line and stick it out!
As always dive safe and straight spears from the Bear.
