So the big cyclone generated surf is coming to an end and it looks like Saturday Arvo and Sunday should be divable!
We have had a huge low pressure cell sitting in the southern ocean and this coupled with the low pressure cell off Madagascar has made the sea here not so appealing to say the least…plus the brown from swollen rivers after the rain we had!
As I write this the Dr SW wind is blowing in Port Sheptsone already at 15knts plus which should start us on the way to getting divable and fish able water back!
Obviously I don’t have a lot of fish information atm however Umgeni and surrounding areas are producing plenty snoek and Dorado are still being caught offshore!
Speaking of Snoek Connie from Umkomaas managed to find a quick gap between swell and brown water and bagged a tank Snoek! Aweh!
As for the weekend weather we have the SW blowing into the early morning Saturday and dropping off to nothing by midmorning with 1.9m swell running from the East still. Sunday is definitely funday with minimal wind and the swell settling down nicely to 1.7m from the south!
Now all we have to do is find some clean water hey! My advice is to head down the south coast…
As always dive safe and straight spears from the Bear.
