Hi peeps and welcome to another Bear report brought to you by Mydo bait swimmers.

Well I can’t believe we have just had a serious amount of Rain again! Meh!
Good news is it’s done raining and we have awesome proper April weather for the weekend!

All rivers are out and even people going to Cape Vidla are having issues with the roads in the reserve. Toti got flooded again and all that brown is headed seaward…Meh!

We have a light SW blowing at the moment and swell is around 1.7m. Current in the main is light to moderate NS and sea temps are between 23 and 25 degC.

As for fish Couta and Snoek should be thick and Garrick shoals should start appearing soon. Some top bottom fish are coming out! Well done Dieter pictured with a 25kg Black Musselcracker!

Saturday and Sunday we have light offshore wind in the morning and light onshore wind in the afternoon. Swell will be around 1.7m from the south at 12 to 14 seconds.

With that weather and swell forecast surfing should be fire this weekend albeit waves being on the smaller side.
A good warmup for those bangers winter sets!

Happy school holidays!

As always dive safe and straight spears from the Bear.
